Well Cheesies, as 2012 draws to a close, we have enjoyed yet another thrilling wet Christmas. Our first week off work & it's been too wet to do anything except book our holiday for March.
After taking my first flight in June, you guessed it, no more washed out British Holidays. As Lady Cheddar, working so hard for my subjects during the year, I need some warm water to swim in, fishing in sunshine & generally to wake up & feel warm.
So we're off to Gran Canaria; Puerto Terito for 2 glorious weeks & then looking at Symi for 2 weeks In October.
Going into work today to do accounts.

Your nicked!!
On the way home from the hospital this morning, at about 3.45 Adam & I got pulled over by the cops doing a spot check. 'just dropped my Mrs off at Neville Hall' Adam said. 'she's in labour'. 'why aren't you with her then' said the copper. Adam replied 'cos her waters have broken & shes not got any pains yet'
The cops replied with some snarky comment
'and I'm the mother' I answered from the front. The cops back tracked, wished Adam the best & sent him
On his way. Nothing like more excitement to add to the evening

Nanny almost
After an exciting day in the garden & cycling with Charlotte & baby bump, Adam, Linda & Chloe at Byn Bach park. An Indian takeaway & watch the Olympic Finale was in order. At 1.30 I got the call from Charlotte, her waters have broken. So here I am at 1.44 am in Neville Halls Maternity unit. Waiting for Charlottes assessment.
I will keep you posted

Grandma in waiting
After 9 months In Residence. Theo has been given 24 hr eviction notice. He has a new furnished premises ready & waiting for him.
A sleepless night spent tossing & turning. Not with anticipation of the arrival of baby Theo, but from the pain of injured leg. It's been a week since Dr looked at it without much interest, gave me a prescription for some painkillers and said if its not better in 6 weeks to come back.
Off to leg club on Tuesday.

A Taste of Wet London
Having left our little abode, nestled in the mountains in Blaenavon, we set off for Regents park on Wednesday to set up our stand at A Taste Of London in Regents Park
Despite the weather being a little wet on the first day, people came by the thousand. And we sold out of our savoury gift packs. Will we have enough stock for the rest of the weekend? Woohoo London

Well, here we are again
Hidy hi cheesies, it is a while since I have posted on here.
Been busy & found Twitter easier, but it lacks word capacity.
Anyway: just clambered into bed & thought I'd keep you all posted on my day.
Finally dried out our kit from the wet weekend at Malvern 3 Counties Show. The weather was terrible & it was our worst show in the 5 years we have been trading. But we took 4 awards in the dairy competition: a First for Nannytrio; layered goats cheese, 2nd for Oak Smoked Pwll Mawr & Dragons Breath, 3rd for Pickled onion.
We have re packed the van & are traveling to London tomorrow for A Taste of London event in Regents park.
Spent this evening in the garden: planted more beans & peas. Planted out sweetcorn. Tomatoes now in place in the greenhouse. Cucumbers still need to bush out before planting on. Thinned radishes.
Boys making Canalmans cheddar tomorrow.
